Eye Health

The health of your eyes is important to us.

Regular sight tests are an important part of a preventative health regime. When you have a sight test we are testing more than just your sight. Our team of highly skilled Optometrists and Ophthalmic Medical Practioners will carry out a series of examinations during your eye test to check the health of your eyes but they will also be looking for signs of other more general systemic conditions

For children, regular sight tests are essential to ensure they have the best vision possible.

For patients with low vision, regular eye checks can ensure they continue to lead a full and independent life style.

And if you find some of the terms used during your sight test difficult to remember there is a fully glossary of common eye conditions here.

If you are visiting one of our practices we would appreciate your co-operation in helping us to maintain levels of infection control by wearing a face covering whilst on our premises and especially so if you are being seen in one of our consulting rooms.

We thank you in advance for your consideration of our staff and other clients.

Please do not book an appointment or attend your practice if you or any member of your household has symptoms of cough, fever, shortness of breath or loss of taste or smell.

Full NHSE advice available here.

Due to pressures associated with COVID19 all of our practices are working on an appointment only basis. Additionally some of our practices may be operating to slightly different hours and we would suggest you call the practice before attending.
